Project:
I was hired at Moxi Works to design a new product. Stakeholders envisioned a software productivity solution for real estate agents and brokerages that could be accessed from smart phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers. As this was to be a responsive design solution, I needed to consider how agents and managing brokers used mobile devices and computers throughout their day and week. These examples show both my process in designing the product as well as my leadership in collaborating with stakeholders, product management, and development.
My role:
• UX lead
• Visual design lead
• Led user/client research and interviews
• Created responsive product ecosystem
• Created all print, marketing, brand collateral

I was asked to templatize a Flash product demo I designed for use in promoting card and board games online. The demo consisted of four sections: What It’s About, What You Get, How To Play, and Where To Next? sections. The How To Play sections were the most involved as they sought to demonstrate the game mechanic for each game and evoke a sense of the spirit and fun of the game. All-in-all, we produced around 20 of these product demos using this template.
My role:
• Project-managed the projects
• Developed the wireframes
• Co-developed Flash template
• Co-designed some of the screen graphics
• Managed the design and development team

Project:
I was brought in to HyperQuality to improve the user experience of their flagship product. The first project I undertook was to interview stakeholders to understand their business of quality assurance and call centers as well as to understand the stakeholders’ vision for the product. I organized a trip to the east coast to do user interviews with key clients. To complement this, I performed additional interviews with users in India, via GoToMeeting and Skype.
I began developing the persona set by using the same framework of eight user types that I used to organize interviews. These roles were vetted and refined by decoding and understanding the data. Common mental models emerged. Relationships between user family members were revealed and subsequently written into narratives defining each persona. Finally, the main goals for each persona became apparent and were added to finish the set.
My role:
• Led user/client research and interviews
• Summarized findings for stakeholders
• Decoded user data to define mental models
• Modeled user data for persona set
• Authored persona set document
